Jodie Holleman McCarty, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Jodie received a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Florida State University in 1998. She received her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Lamar University in 2000. Jodie has over 13 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and private practice. She has provided assessment and therapeutic intervention to a diverse population including Autism, Down Syndrome, auditory processing disorders, developmental apraxia of speech, dysarthria, fluency disorders, traumatic brain injury, dysphagia, voice disorders, and cri du chat. She is licensed by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the Texas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology. Jodie is dedicated to improving the lives of children by improving their communication skills. She strongly believes that collaboration with other professionals involved in a patient’s intervention is essential to creating a successful plan of care for each individual child.

 

 

Amy Camille Mahabir, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and minor in Sociology at University of Houston Main Campus. She received a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2006 from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Amy has 15 years of occupational therapy experience in different settings: including pediatric outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing. She has been trained in NDT (neurodevelopmetal treatment), handwriting without tears, and kinesiotaping. Amy specializes in fine motor, hand strengthening, sensory, behavior and developmental delay, and neurological impairments.

 

Ning Malabanan, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Ning, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from University of the East in the Philippines before receiving her Doctorate degree in New York. She has over 21 years of
experience and has treated various patients concerned with
different magnitudes of gross motor impairments. Along with her
extensive knowledge and experience, Ning has worked in multiple settings including schools, hospitals, home-health and
private practice. Her services are specialized in the treatment of
neurological disabilities, developmental delays, and
musculoskeletal conditions.

 

Heike Tiensch, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Heike graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.Ed. M.Ed. She has over 20 years of experience working with children in a private practice setting.

Her specialties include: oral-motor, feeding, apraxia, articulation, and language impairments. Her training includes: NDT, PROMPT, Hanan, Nancy Kaufman and Sarah Johnson-Rosenfeld (Talk Tools).
